Round 9 of SOS has been announced

Despite funding not being renewed by Brisbane City Council, New Holland Pictures has announced the next instalment of extremely popular film event Scripts on Southgate, to be held Tuesday the 14th of August, 6.30 for 7pm.

Held at Eleven 17 Bar and Restaurant in Cannon Hill, professional actors perform chosen material to an audience of Brisbane producers, directors, writers and general film lovers.  

Aimed at helping writers develop strong screen stories while creating a rare film networking opportunity, SOS is a fun and interesting night out, and a great way to meet people in the industry.

Round 9 of Scripts on Southgate promises to be a big one – with overwhelming support from filmmakers and sponsors flooding in to keep the initiative up and running.

Writers need to get their scripts to brigitte@newhollandpictures.com.au by 5pm, Friday the 3rd of August   for the opportunity to have their screenplay workshopped at this unique event.
