At World's End to Premiere at Melbourne's Cinema Nova on 12th August

The Australian premiere of At World's End is to be held at Melbourne's Cinema Nova on Thursday, 12th August, 2010. Nominated for 7 Danish film awards, the action-comedy is also opening at the Devonport CMAX in Tasmania on the same date. During the shooting of an English nature-program in a remote rainforest, a television crew is killed by the Danish Severin Geertsen. The Danish criminal psychiatrist Adrian is send to the region with his secretary, to psychoanalyze Severin. Severin claims to be 129 years old and says he has found a flower that gives eternal life when you eat its leaves. In the turn of events, the three Danes end up on the run from the military police, led by the insane General Somchaik, as well as from the American gangster Jack Pudovski. They are all chasing the flower that can give eternal life! – even the skeptic Adrian, as it might be his dying mother’s last hope.
