Tracy Nodwell, Cathy Overett, Emma Slade, Erin Brady & Paula Jones

The Australian International Documentary Conference held in Melbourne last week proved an excellent opportunity for New Holland Pictures to ply their doco wares whilst honing up on the latest international documentary trends.

Cathy Overett and Erin Brady represented NHP at the conference. Top of their agenda was an indigenous co-production in development with New Zealand’s Showdown Productions. Showdown’s Emma Slade and Paula Jones joined them to co-pitch the project and response from the market was very positive.

ABC and SBSi both expressed interest in other NHP projects, and a pre-sale was secured with a European broadcaster for New Dutch Master.
