29th November 2010
New Holland Pictures is excited to announce in the wake of last night’s book launch that they have snagged the film rights to the biographical thriller ‘Undercover’.

book launch last night
‘Undercover’ published by Random House, tells the amazing true-life story of Melbourne banker, Keith Bulfin. Jailed on conspiracy to defraud, he becomes friends with fellow Port Phillip Prison inmate, the infamous Mexican drug cartel banker Daniel Gomez. Due to this close relationship, Bulfin is "encouraged" into becoming an undercover agent for the US Drug Enforcement Agency. And thus begins one of the world's most dangerous undercover missions: laundering millions of dollars for the six major Mexican drug cartel families. It is a story of almost inconceivable wealth, violence, torture and survival.
The book launch was a huge success. Over 60 specially invited family, friends, actors, film industry personnel and business leaders attended the event held at Avenue Bookstore in Albert Park, Melbourne.
‘Undercover’ is available in stores in Australia from the 1st of December 2010, and you can catch Keith in a pre-release interview with Today Tonight at 6.30pm tonight (Monday 29 November) on the Seven Network.
Keith is represented by Harry M Miller.
New Holland Pictures and NZ's Showdown Film are looking to take the adapted screenplay - renamed "The Banker" into production in 2012 with an A-List cast for its big screen release.
