Strangerland: In the Raw at Dungog

It was a full house for Dungog Film Festival’s “In the Raw” live script reading of Fiona Seres’ unnerving mystery thriller “Strangerland”.

The cast for the reading - Matt Day, Suzie Porter, Kat Stewart, Paul Gleeson, Henry Nixon and Natasha Bassett – had the audience on the edge of their seats. The open feedback session afterwards was very positive, being both complimentary and offering a few tips on how country towns folk would engage with the family in their time of crisis. Scriptwriter Fiona Seres and director Kim Farrant were delighted with the outcome.

Strangerland is scheduled for production in late 2009/early 2010.
