Separation City to screen at Dungog

Presented by director Paul Middleditch and producer Mark Overett Separation City is set to screen at the Dungog Film Festival on Friday 28th May.

Top advertising director Paul Middleditch directs this New Zealand romantic comedy about the pitfalls of married life. Adultery is a very small step for mankind but a giant leap for Simon Nicholson (Joel Edgerton). Pam, (Danielle Cormack), his wife and mother of his small children, previously insatiable with desire, now only consents to sex now if she can continue reading novels without losing her place. When her friend, the beautiful and recently separated Katrien, (Rhona Mitra) begins flirting with Simon, he can’t believe his luck. After he discovers that Katrien will be in Germany at the same time he is attending a conference on global warming in Berlin, he hatches a scheme that simply has to go wrong. With a great supporting cast and Edgerton’s performance generating sympathy for the hapless Simon, this is a romantic rollercoaster ride of a film.
