Script submissions for October now welcome

new Holland would like to thank all who attended and participated in August’s SOS – it was a great night with a huge amount of feedback and energy.  

Round 10 of SOS will be held on Tuesday the 16th of October at Eleven 17 Bar and Restaurant, Southgate Ave, Cannon Hill; 6.30 for 7pm.

Screen writers are invited to submit short film or feature scripts, four of which are chosen to be workshopped, and then read by professional actors at this laid back, industry evening.

SOS attracts directors, producers, screenwriters, actors and general film buffs from all over South-east Queensland and beyond; and is one of just a handful of expert, yet community based, film events in the country.

The deadline for scripts is Friday the 5th of October at 5pm.
