Thailand turns to the dark side

Following the first Asian series production in Indonesia earlier this year, Thailand is the latest country to come over to the “darkside”.

Produced by BEC-TERO for Channel 3, In The Dark (26 x half hours) is hosted by two of Thailand’s leading presenters: vivacious newsreader and chat show host Patcharasri Benjamas (otherwise known as Galamare) and comedian/actor Benjapol Choeyarun (Gough).

Working with local Series Producer David Searl and Producer/Director Chanawat Wajanont (Gong), co-devisor of the format and consulting producer Mark Overett flew over to Bangkok to help with the pre-production and oversee the first recordings.

Unlike the European productions, the Thai series features a celebrity couple each week competing against two other couples.  The end result however is still the same… laughs, laughs, laughs!
