Screen Qld Appointment

New Holland Pictures' Cathy Overett has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Screen Queensland - previously known as the Pacific Film and Television Commission.

Cathy’s appointment to the board was announced today by the Premier and Minister for the Arts Anna Bligh along with three other new directors - Chris Nyst, John Menzies and Professor Peter Coaldrake as Chair.

As Chair of the Queensland Screen Industry Council and Queensland Chapter Head of the Screen Producers Association of Australia, Cathy's appointment brings a direct industry voice to the Screen Qld Board, including strong practical knowledge of the every day issues, challenges and opportunities that face Queensland screen professionals.
