Brigitte wins Fast Film competition

New Holland Pictures' staff member Brigitte Jean Allen, along with second year QUT student Killian Maguire, have won the Fast Film competition at BIFF with their entry Tiny Tiago.

The winner was announced at the closing night ceremony at Brisbane's Regent Theatre by festival director Anne Demy-Geroe.

Incorporating a magnifying glass into their script, entrants were required to make a film of under five minutes in 50 days.

Selected from around 100 entries in the competition, Allen and Maguire's independent winning film was produced entirely in 3 weeks.
