After emigrating from Singapore to Australia in his twenties Kee developed a passion for acting. His early support roles included television drama series such as Water Rats, Ocean Girl and Franc Roddam’s Moby Dick (1998). He then landed a lead role opposite Dennis Hopper in the drama series, Flatland. He has also had pivotal roles in John Woo’s Mission Impossible II (2000) and George Lucas's Star Wars III: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith in 2005.
Kee recently played Santi Wantha on hit Australian drama series Sea Patrol and is currently working on a screenplay based on his family's part in the reformation of China.
