QLD Producer Angela Walsh has Joined New Holland Picutres

New Holland Pictures is delighted to advise Angela Walsh has joined the team, helping move our development slate and co-productions into filming. Angela joins us with the assistance of Screen Qld.

Starting in radio more than twenty years ago, Angela Walsh spent a decade working at various radio and television stations around the country writing, producing, presenting and directing. She won awards for her talents as both a presenter and also as a writer. Leaving fulltime work in 1997 to focus on writing, her short “Carrot Day” screened on ABC’s Fly TV and a number of other scripts were financially supported by the State Government film body, then known as the Pacific Film and Television Commission. In 2002 she wrote, directed, and co-produced the short documentary, “Bus Driver”, through QPIX. This led to solo-producing a short comedy, “Tong Master”, which was immediately picked up by SBS. More successful, award-winning shorts were made and in 2007 she  completed her first television documentary “Tsunami In The Sky”. Most recently Angela has been producing pilots for animated series and developing and marketing films and television drama projects.
